  1. LA HOLLYWOOD IMAGES

  3. General Information
  4.  
  5. * To view the 3-D images on this CD, wear your 3-D glasses with the red lens 
  6.   on the left eye.
  7. * Click on the "Find" button in the browsers menu bar. When the "Find" dialog
  8.   box comes on screen , change the pull down menu from "Name" to "Notes", type
  9.   in the word "3D" and click on the "Find" button. This will sort the file to
  10.   display only the 3-D images.
  11.   
  12. * Using the method above you may also find the Quicktime video (search for 
  13.   "video").

  15. Image Specifications
  16.  
  17. * Images are available in TIFF format as well as Bitmap format (BMP) for your
  18.   convenience. They may be used in any program that can read TIFF or BMP 
  19.   graphic formats.
  20. * TIFF images are located in the "01" directory/folder that is inside the 
  21.   "LA_HOLLY" directory/folder inside the "CONTENT" directory/folder.
  22. * Windows users can also access a directory/folder called "BMP" that contains
  23.   Bitmap (BMP) images. It is located in the main (root) directory of the
  24.   CD.

  26. QUICK START ------------------------------------------------------------------

  28. WINDOWS 95 IMAGE BROWSER INSTALLATION:
  29.  
  30. * Insert CD in drive.
  31. * Select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Type in "D:\STARTUP.EXE". Omit quotes and
  32.   replace the letter "D" with the appropriate letter for your CD drive (D is
  33.   the most common). Click "OK".
  34. * Click on install icon (upper left corner of installer window) and follow
  35.   on-screen instructions.
  36. * After your computer reboots, click on the "Start" menu, select "Programs"
  37.   then go to "LA and Hollywood Images". Finally select the "LA_HOLLY.KDB" icon.
  38. * The CD MUST BE IN THE DRIVE to launch the browser and view the images. When
  39.   in the browser, right-click on the thumbnail to view a full-screen image.

  41. WINDOWS 95 SCREEN SAVER INSTALLATION:
  42.  
  43. * Insert CD in drive.
  44. * Select "Run" from the "Start" menu.
  45. * Type in "D:\SCRN_SVR\WIN95\LA_HOLLY.EXE". Omit quotes and replace the letter
  46.   "D" with the appropriate letter for your CD drive (D is the most common).
  47.   Click "OK" and follow on-screen instructions.

  49. WINDOWS 95 QUICKTIME INSTALLATION
  50.  
  51. Quicktime is required to view the video clips we have included in our browser.
  52.  
  53. * If you do not have Quicktime installed, select "Run" from the "Start" menu. 
  54.   Type in "D:\QTINSTAL\QTEASY32.EXE". 
  55.   Omit quotes and replace the letter "D" with the appropriate letter for your 
  56.   CD drive (D is the most common). Click "OK" and follow on-screen
  57.   instructions.

  60. WINDOWS 3 IMAGE BROWSER INSTALLATION:
  61.  
  62. * Launch Windows and insert CD in drive.
  63. * Select "Run" from the "File" menu in the "Program Manager".
  64. * Type in the path: "D:\STARTUP.EXE". Omit quotes and replace the letter "D"
  65.   with the appropriate letter for your CD drive (D is the most common). Click
  66.   "OK".

  70.   the program  group named "LA and Hollywood Images".
